Learn design thinking in this new virtual course from the Stanford D School

The Stanford D School have recently released a new Starter Kit designed for teams looking to host a virtual design thinking workshop or training session. Throughout the online course, you’ll learn the basics of design thinking and be exposed to the methods and mindsets required to apply this creative approach to your own unique challenges. Virtual Design Thinking Course: What to Expect

Expect many partner activities and discussion points that can drive your workshop or training session forward. In three hours, you’ll learn over 20 concepts and tools that can be used in your own human-centered design work.

D School instructors Laura McBain and Louie Montoya will help co-facilitate the course through videos alongside your own facilitator using Zoom. The facilitator will also be provided with slides that will walk them through the experience and how to best lead your team to success.

Some of the activities included in this virtual design thinking workshop include:

  • Blind contour portraits
  • Day in the life mapping
  • Remixing
