Culture of Innovation Workshops and Programs

A culture of innovation is built in the moments when people practice new ways of working together. Our culture of innovation programs give teams those moments: hands-on workshops, interactive keynotes, and pre-conference experiences where people experiment, create, and connect around real challenges in their organization.

Dr. Darin Eich designs and leads every program. He has worked with more than 100 organizations, from Silicon Valley companies and Ivy League institutions to regional employers and conferences across the Midwest. Programs are delivered at your site, at a retreat or conference venue, or virtually, and each one is customized to your people and your goals.

Case Study: WorkPossible (formerly CultureCon)

WorkPossible (formerly CultureCon) brings together HR leaders, culture officers, and change practitioners who want to build better workplaces. We have designed and led an innovative design thinking experience for the conference since its inaugural event in 2018. Each pre-conference workshop is designed fresh around the people in the room and the culture challenges they bring.

Participants experience the methods instead of hearing about them. Through storytelling, play, reflection, rapid ideation, and prototyping, culture leaders from different organizations explore real challenges and leave with ideas they can take back to work. Read the full pre-conference workshop case study on innovating culture with design thinking.

“The room was ELECTRIC at yesterday’s Pre-Con, which kicked off CultureCon! We experienced design thinking in action, through play, improvisation, and a strong bias toward action. We practiced the mindsets and methods that make innovation real and human-centered. Participants co-created solutions, prototyped ideas, and walked away with actionable options for innovating culture in our workplaces. Thanks to Darin’s masterful leadership and facilitation, we also created real connections in a short time.”

Jennifer, pre-conference participant

The same approach shaped the pre-conference workshop for the conference’s AI Summit, where leaders explored AI adoption as a culture and leadership challenge. Learn more about the WorkPossible AI Summit workshop.

“What makes CultureCon special isn’t just the keynotes or the big stages; it’s the small circles, breakout rooms, and preconference workshops where people lean in and create understanding about what’s happening in their workplaces and imagine something better together.”

Daniel, AI Summit participant

Where to Start

Many organizations begin by taking a quick culture of innovation assessment to see where mindset, leadership, process, and culture are strong and where they need support. From there, we design a workshop, keynote, or event experience around your goals, your group, and the challenges you want to make progress on.
